Company: Nationwide Department Store Chain ($4 billion in revenues).

Situation: A nationwide department store chain was operating in Chaper 11.

Focus Scope: A Focus Professional was brought on board to serve as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board for the company to oversee all aspects of the business and effectuate a turnaround.

Tasks Performed: The Focus Professional developed a strategic vision for the future to bring the Company out of Chapter 11. Under performing stores were closed, and all stores were updated with new merchandise. Our Focus Professional also established a core customer focus.

Results: The Company experienced a successful merchandising turnaround and continued improvement in operating performance. The Company also received many awards for providing the best customer service in its industry, as well as the Discount Store News Award.
