Christopher Gouskos

Christopher Gouskos is an experienced finance professional with over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Chris has a well-diversified background in all aspects of corporate and consumer finance and a proven track record of strong performance and strong relationships in the banking, finance and mortgage lending communities.
Chris’s experience includes growing a large wholesale mortgage lending platform with over 400 employees, where he was responsible for both sales and operations and navigating the turnaround of an underperforming corporate lending platform. Other relevant experience includes Asset Securitization and Capital Markets exposure while at Bank of America and Corporate loan workout experience while at Heller Financial. His management and oversight of loan portfolios with commitments in excess of $1 billion lend themselves well to current market opportunities.
Prior to joining Focus Management Group, Chris worked for a number of leading corporate and consumer finance companies for over 20 years, including GE Capital, Bank of America, Heller Financial , Countrywide and Conseco Finance. Chris served as Divisional President for GE Money, where he oversaw 26 Central and Eastern states. While at GE, Chris opened two regional offices and grew production from $250 million per month when he joined to $750 million per month over the course of his tenure. During this high growth period, the division improved their operating and sales efficiency metrics and was named “Division of the Year” in 2005.
Chris is a graduate of Iowa State University where he received a BBA in Accounting with an emphasis in Finance. He has also received his Series 7 and Series 63 certifications. He is also a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
